Bakers keep league title in their sights
By mike kemp
Coming back to a competitive game after the festive break does not seem fun to all, especially when its cold as 4C outside.
This looked to be a high scoring game with Daniel Dray going over the line within a few minutes of the start. Pegasus responding well with in 5 minutes, scoring their own try. The rest of the first half was up and down the pitch with many basic errors from both teams. Ben Davis went over for bakers second try mid way though the half. Going in at half time with the score 10-5 the game was in the balance.
The second half started slower then every one would have thought, many penalties from both teams lead to a stop start game. Jay Walsh of May and Baker went over for the next try on 55 minutes. Pegasus, looked to take advantage of the many penalties, kick two over the next 10 minutes.
This woke up the Bakers team.
Two tries in quick succession from Jordan Cook and David O'Sullivan, led to bakers in the driving seat. Bakers had a taste for scoring, in the last part of the game Bakers were camped out in the Pegasus half. Jay Walsh crossed the line again for Bakers 6th try towards the end of the game.
